In most respects, Reshelled delivers, but it's missing a few things that are important. I had very high hopes for a slick remake that was packed with everything I loved about the original. The original Turtles in Time is among my favorite games, ever. If I sound a bit nitpicky, I suppose it's because I am. Upon a further play through of the game I have to say that the new style is starting to grow on me a little more. Unfortunately this feature is missing too. I'd also have appreciated being able to swap between the classic version and Reshelled on the fly, a la R-Type Dimensions. The boss fight against Shredder in the tank is one of the finest of the 16 bit era, in my estimation, and I was really looking forward to it in the new version. The additional levels would have made what is a very short game a tad longer, adding to the value.
For modern remakes, you expect to be purchasing the definitive version of a game. The worst part of Reshelled is the lack of the extra SNES levels and changes.
